At ecoligo, transparency is our top priority. We place a strong emphasis on minimizing risk and safeguarding your data. All investments carry some level of risk. At ecoligo we strive to continuously optimize our processes to minimize risks as much as possible.

Our approach to selecting companies is highly selective. We only work with companies that fulfil strict criteria. Through detailed site inspections, we thoroughly analyse the conditions and specific requirements of each site to ensure the suitability of our solar systems. In addition, we assess the financial stability of our customers based on historical financial statements and analyse energy requirements by closely examining historical electricity consumption.

This comprehensive assessment ensures that we only work with customers who meet our ethical and sustainability standards, are financially stable and can demonstrate a clear need for our solutions.

In order to maximise the success of our financed projects, we implement thorough processes, including a KYC (Know Your Customer) process. This entails a detailed review of qualitative, legal and commercial criteria to validate the eligibility as contractual partner.

We also perform a comprehensive financial due diligence based on our clients' last three audited financial statements. We assess liquidity, rentability, profitability and solvency to ensure that we only work with customers who fulfil over 30 specific criteria. Around 90% of our potential customers pass this stage and are enthusiastically supported further.

The selection of our construction partners is also extremely selective to ensure that we only work with trustworthy individuals and organisations. Our partners select the project components via our approved whitelist, which allows us to ensure, that only top quality components are being used for the build. This not only guarantees exemplary project implementation execution, but also the adhering to standards. As part of our EPC partner programme, we assess the quality of our partners' work, their track record and the experience of their employees. Only partners that exceed our expectations are allowed into the program and can build solar systems for ecoligo. In addition, our contracts with EPC partners include technical performance requirements, which if not met, trigger compensation payments, ensuring project returns are secured.ed standards.

With offices in Accra, Nairobi, San José, Santiago, Manila and Ho Chi Minh City, we ensure direct and regular support for all our solar projects. Our local teams speak the local languages know the local regulation and laws and know best how to realise professional business. This local presence allows us to build clos relationships with each individual customer, which is an important building block for the long term success of the projects.

We implement digital remote monitoring in every solar installation. This enables us to detect technical problems immediately and have them quickly resolved by our local maintenance partners and employees. In addition, our installations are insured against standard risks, such as weather events or damages by third parties.

As ecoligo owns each installation and its components, we have a strong incentive to run each installation as good as possible. This ensures both your and our financial returns.

In the unlikely event of a default or natural disaster, we have established the following safeguards: all of our installations are insured and remain under our ownership -shielding them from potential insolvency. In many cases, the solar panels can be sold, often recouping around 80% of their original value. However, we typically prefer to repurpose these systems for other projects within the region.

As investor you can be assured, that your investment is our highest priority. Without your capital, we could not realise our projects and generate our impact. Our processes and our doing are constantly focussed on continuous improvements, to avoid possible risks beforehand and minimize remaining risks as well as reducing their effects to a minimum. Our successful track record is proof of this working.
Nevertheless we would like to point out again, that each investment is at a risk of a total loss of the invested capital.
