Investments in our financial products are subject to risk and can result in the complete loss of the invested capital. Nevertheless, we have established various security measures to ensure the greatest possible success of our projects. KYC process: In order to maximise the success of our financed projects, we implement thorough processes, including a KYC (Know Your Customer) process. This entails a detailed review of qualitative, legal and commercial criteria to validate the eligibility as contractual partner. Due-diligence: We also perform a comprehensive financial due diligence based on our clients' last three audited financial statements. We assess liquidity, rentability, profitability and solvency to ensure that we only work with customers who fulfil over 30 specific criteria. Around 90% of our potential customers pass this stage and are enthusiastically supported further. ecoligo retains ownership of the solar installations: The solar system remain the property of ecoligo for the duration of the power purchase agreement. In addition, we have full access to the plants at all times to monitor the performance. This means that possible faults can be immediately identified and rectified by our teams of experts and local partners. Our systems are insured: Our systems are insured against a wide range of risks that could lead to faults or reduced performance. This is how we ensure that possible damage from weather events or other third party influence are not leading to unexpected additional costs. Operating and maintenance partners: After our systems have been commissioned, we rely on qualified partners to operate and maintain them. They provide our end customers with more and more on-site training so that they can carry out simple tasks such as cleaning themselves.
