All investors and interested parties have access to detailed information about the individual projects and end customers on our website. But sometimes, as in the case of Bernd R., this is not even necessary. Find out here how he came to know the Penta Flowers project in Kenya personally and what convinced him to invest via the crowdfunding platform.

“I didn’t come into contact with ecoligo in the traditional way via the internet or acquaintances, but learned about the platform on the ground in Kenya. As an engineer for renewable energies, I was often on the road in various emerging countries and often met other members of the industry there. That’s how I got to know Martin Baart in Kenya a few years ago. I also visited the flower farm Penta Flowers, one of the first projects in which one could invest through ecoligo, during my time in Kenya. So it was only natural that I observed the development of ecoligo and finally made my first investment through ecoligo.

I personally find the concept of financing solar projects with the help of crowdfunding very exciting. Especially since I myself am very involved in the field of renewables and climate protection, both professionally and privately.

For Christmas, I have now thought of something very special: I want to give investments to my four grandchildren and invest money for them through ecoligo. This way they will be able to benefit from their gifts for many years to come, while at the same time the money will continue to support climate protection.

I am well aware that investments via crowdinvestment platforms such as ecoligo – like any other financial investment that aims to generate profits – are associated with risks. In the case of ecoligobin, however, I am willing to take this risk because the platform creates a lot of trust and is very transparent. The fact that I have received all repayments on time so far has strengthened this trust.

For Christmas, I have now thought of something very special: I want to give investments to my four grandchildren and invest money for them through ecoligo. This way they will be able to benefit from their gifts for many years to come, while at the same time the money will continue to support climate protection. This not only makes them happy, but also me.”
