In the Investors’ Insights series, crowdinvestors talk about their experiences with ecoligo and the motives behind investing in a solar project. Often it is a mixture of several individual factors. Martin Zeller also tells us what drives him to invest in photovoltaic projects in the sunny regions of this world and what is important to him in terms of renewable energies.

“I have been strongly interested in photovoltaic technology and its expansion for many years and follow current events as a reader of well-known trade journals. This is also how I came across ecoligo and the opportunity to invest in solar projects.

For me, solar energy is one of the most important pillars in the field of renewable energies and thus a strong factor in the fight against climate change. In this context, the expansion must be driven forward globally – exactly what ecoligo is tackling. In the countries where ecoligo carries out projects, the use of solar power is virtually a must, given the high number of hours of sunshine. However, I must add that other renewable energies also need more promotion. We need an increased use of wind energy and we have to push for the improvement of storage capacities and possibilities. This is the only way to use the full potential of renewables.

In order to be able to participate in the changeover to renewable energies as a private person, I have decided to invest through ecoligo. This way I can actively promote the global expansion of solar energy and do something for the environment. The fact that all interest and redemption payments have been paid out in full so far has further strengthened my decision to invest in ecoligo’s projects. I very much hope that confidence in photovoltaic technology will continue to grow and that more people will become involved in its expansion.”

For me, solar energy is one of the most important pillars in the field of renewable energies and thus a strong factor in the fight against climate change.
