Investors’ Insights: Why Kai B. invests via ecoligo
Interest, the desire to do something good, interest in solar. There are many reasons for investing in our projects. So that you can find out what drives other crowdinvestors* and why they decided to invest in solar projects, we asked some of them about their experience with ecoligo. First, Kai B. tells us what convinced him.
“Actually, ecoligo was not my first choice for sustainable investments. I first enquired about other platforms and also invested some money there. However, I had bad experiences there and looked around for an alternative. That’s how I came across ecoligo.
Here, the punctual and complete interest and redemption payments and the transparent project presentation gave me a secure feeling, so I was willing to entrust ecoligo with my money.
What I like most about investing through ecoligo is that my money is contributing to the fight against the climate crisis and that this is being driven primarily in emerging markets. This means that I can make a real impact with my investment.Kai B.
I am now invested in a large number of projects and the detailed semi-annual reports show me the current status and how my investment has been used. The newly established Covid-19 guarantee fund has also created additional trust in ecoligo.
What I like most about investing through ecoligo is that my money is contributing to the fight against the climate crisis and that this is being driven primarily in emerging markets. This means that I can make a real impact with my investment. Of course, the interest rates offered also play a role in my decision for ecoligo. So far, I have invested mainly in African projects, but I am also looking at the new market Vietnam with great interest. Here, there is an opportunity for me as an investor to make the country’s economic boom more sustainable by supporting renewable energies.”
